I am wondering if any one could tell me, why is it that we very rarely get to see Daisey and Donald Duck on board ship or even at the Kingdom :confused3 ??????

We did see them once or twice, but rarely!!!

Oh I know this one!
In order to play Donald or Daisy the CM has to be really short and have a great personality. They are just too rare! Check out Donald and Daisy's shoulders in my pic below and you will get an idea of the size of the actor.
FYI I'm 5'10" and DD is about 5'1" in this pic.

Stitch seems to be even shorter but he seems to get more time.

I guess the ducks just are not as popular as Mickey. :confused3

Donald came into Flouders the evening my DD was there and she was apparently the only one there interested in the characters so she got to spend 15-20 minutes alone with Donald. The Flounder's CM's took a Polaroid pic of my DD on Donald's lap. It is just precious and I know she must have been in heaven because even as a 12 month old she LOVED  the characters.

DD is now almost 18 months old and there is no way that she "remembers" our trip but she still seems to have a special affinity for Donald and I have to think that is the reason. "Da Duck" :donald: was one of her first words and she gets so excited when he is on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Playhouse Disney. I know we will spend some time looking for him on our next cruise. :)

But Donald & Daisy are ALWAYS on the ship...in the shows & with autographs.

The D&D helpers may have other roles as well though. Did you call the PALs line to find out which characters were going to be out the next day? We found that Donald appeared on deck 9 at the Goofy pool a couple times. We also got pictures of both of them in their formal outfits on Formal night. Daisy also went to the O Club to take pictures with the kids for a photo mat craft that they did.

Yup, that's one of the best thing about the cruise for me. We get more personal time with the classic characters. :woohoo: OMG I spent so much on photos!

Yes the are in the shows sometimes not all the shows like Mickey and Minnie or Pluto and Goofy . They also do not appear on the decks like the others as well. We all love donald and daisey, but only saw them one or twice maybe 3 times on the deck and only maybe 2 times in the shows.

Maybe the character schedule is different from cruise to cruise. Maybe someone was sick that week?
