at the character breakfast buffets. I have never in my life been to a buffet that does not have pancakes except when I am at Disney. We are staying at the Poly and if I want to get my daughter pancakes I have to make ressies at Kona because looking online Captain Cooks doesn't have pancakes.
My middle daughter hates eggs, french toast and waffles (yes I know she is picky) so I try to find meals that have pancakes but it seems to be very difficult

Can everyone let me know places in the world they have eaten that has had pancakes please

TIA

I imagine they aren't on buffets because they don't hold up well unless they are fresh, in which case you need a CM to stand there and make pancakes all the time, and that holds up the line. At least with waffles they can be do it yourself in most cases. To me pancakes that have sat out in a warming tray just turn rubbery and nasty.

I've only had them in WDW at Kona.

I agree, pancakes are hard to keep good in a setting like Disney. We didn't even have luck with them at Kona. DS and DH got pancakes there on our last morning and they were tough, rubbery and dry. The waffles all week were so much better. I'm not a waffle person either but I loved those Mickey waffles!

They are supposed to have pancakes on the menu next door at the Grand Floridian Cafe. And I believe Whispering Canyon also has pancakes for breakfast. Hope this helps a little. :goodvibes

Chef Mickey's had pancakes when we were there last year. They may have been a "buffet line" item, but they were essentially cooked-to-order as they were having a hard time keeping up with demand. Pretty much straight from the griddle to the plate.

Actually, I think Tusker House might have had them too....maybe Crystal Palace...they all have such a variety of food I'm sure she will find something she will like.:thumbsup2

I'm certain that CM had pancakes last time, pretty sure CP, Tusker & Cape May had as well. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to ask if it's possible to get an order of pancakes at a buffet...if they have waffles they should easily be able to whip up a stack of pancakes for you.

They definitely had them at Crystal Palace last fall. The cook (he's also the omelet guy) would also put chocolate chips in them if you requested it!

Personally vouch for CP (as PP poster said the cook will make them to order) and 1900 Park Fare. They aren't the best after they've sat on the tray for a while, like others have said. DD9 isn't too discriminating about it though. Kids sometimes aren't as particular about it.

Cape May did not have them when we were there in February. We ate breakfast there twice and neither time did we see pancakes or an empty spot for pancakes.

The Wave, Boma, 1900 Park Fare, Grand Floridian Cafe', Olivia's, Whispering Canyon, and the Captain's Grille, have them too!

I didn't see them at CM, CP or 1900 Park Fare last December.

She is extremely picky, it drives me nuts. All she ends up eating is bacon and sausage. Maybe we should have stayed at Pop, they have pancakes but the counter service at Poly doesn't I can't figure it out

I think we will go to Kona 2X this trip but we also have Ohana, Akershus, Tusker and Hollywood and vine. Maybe I will force her to eat waffles from now till Dec so she will suck it up and eat them. They are made pretty much the same so I don't get why she won't eat them

Don't hesitate to ask your server if they can get some pancakes if there are not any on the buffet. I have found the CM's at the restaurants to be very accomodating with picky eaters. They may not be able to, but the worst thing that can happen is they say no, and they even say yes! :thumbsup2

Crystal Palace will make them to order at the omelet station, the waiter told us and my DH had it and it was very good.

I remember having them at CP, CM, and 1900 PF. I usually remember because I prefer pancakes over waffles as well.
