Obviously asking random strangers will solve everything. We're going for 4 nights in Jan, over marathon weekend so it will be semi-busy. Myself, DH, DS5, and DS1. Staying at BCR, our first time at a near-park resort. We currently have 4-day tickets but may add a 5th. We will arrive at 9:30 Thurs morning, so we have almost a full day for the parks, and don't fly out until 2:30 so could squeeze in a few rides that morning if we so choose.

My original plan was 2 days at Epcot (including arrival day) so we can hit all of the Tier 1s and 1 day at HS. I wanted to take advantage of being walking distance, even though we've always done two MK days in the past. Our 4th day would be MK. DS5 is obsessed with both TT and Star Wars. He really wants to do JTA again, so we can't do HS on arrival day. I'm now waffling, and wondering if we shouldn't try to find a way to see ROL and/or squeeze in a second day at MK. We do go every year and are seriously contemplating DVC, so we'll definitely have a chance to do it all eventually. The kids don't nap in strollers so we usually return to the room by late afternoon to nap before dinner. I'd also like to know what night(s) Star Wars fireworks are a possibility, but it doesn't seem like Disney is planning on telling me before my FP window opens. DH is no help, he doesn't believe in making decisions, lol. DS5 just wants to ride TT 500 times.

What do y'all think?

Original plan(A)
1/5 (arrival) Epcot (FP TT) - nap after late lunch in park, return if not too tired
1/6 Epcot (RD Soarin'/FP FEA)
1/7 DHS
1/8 MK
1/9 Leisurely morning, Cape May breakfast, DME to MCO

So alternative plans would be
B:
1/5 lunch, nap, AK, ROL
1/6 Epcot (RD Soarin'/FP TT)
1/7 DHS
1/8 MK
1/9 Epcot (FP TT - I'm the only one in my family who cares about Frozen, eat in WS, head back to DME)

C:
1/5 Epcot (FP TT)
1/6 MK
1/7 DHS
1/8 MK
1/9 Epcot (RD Soarin'/FP TT)

D:
1/5: lunch, nap, MK
1/6: Epcot (RD TT/FP FEA)
1/7: DHS
1/8: MK
1/9: Epcot (RD Soarin'/FP TT)

A 5 & 1 year old would love mk.

If it were me I'd do 4 mk days, because I find the other parks are not nearly as fun. In fact I visit mk each day on my trips. That's not to say I don't do the other 3, they each get 1/2 day each with the other 1/2 that day at mk.

But that's just me.

I like option C. I would rather have 2 full days at MK. Since you are so close and walking distance Epcot I would go there both on my arrival day and the day I leave if I had the time to do so. I am not sure you would need a full day at AK or DHS. Both of these parks for us are half day parks right now. Once every thing is open in the parks for the new areas I am sure that will change but as of right now they are kind of a waste for us to plan an entire day around.

My vote is C. I understand wanting both Frozen and Soarin FP. We love going to Epcot our first day. I think you will need 2 days at MK with little ones to get everything done. :dogdance:

We've never done hoppers, since we tend to leave the parks in late afternoon, nap/rest, and then go out to a nice dinner and crash. So we can't split a day between DHS and AK without shelling out for hoppers for the whole trip. We could do that, but I just don't know if we'd get much use out of them.

And they do love MK, as do we! But MK doesn't have TT or Jedis, which is a problem, lol. Plus we have to take a bus, so I'll wait on the all-MK-every-day trip until we get a DVC room at BLT!

I'm definitely leaning C or D though, at this point. Hopefully it would allow us to keep our MK days a little shorter and let us enjoy our resort and the Boardwalk a little too.
