why is it harder to pack..

for 3 nights compared to 2 weeks? I am trying to get organised for next week and I am finding it really hard to not just for 3 nights and not take enough stuff for a two weeks!!

Definitely - because you feel that you should need considerably less things for 3 nights than for 2 weeks... However, many things (toiletries, cosmetics, hair products, hair straightener, maybe hair dryer, shoes etc) you will need the same for 1 night as for 2 weeks. If you want to go to the gym, you have to take all your gym stuff etc.

Men, on the otherhand, seem to be able to go anywhere for 3 nights with a couple of changes of shirt, pants and socks and a bottle of hair mousse

I usually end up taking more stuff for 3 days than I do for 2 weeks

I find that if I'm going to Florida for 2 weeks then I'll know the weather and pack clothes accordingly. If I'm going to UK or northern Europe then I have to take two sets of clothes as the weather is so unpredictable.

Oh yes, definitely. I think I took more stuff to Menorca for one week than I did for two weeks in Florida - or at least the same amount! My problem is that I want to take everything - just in case - and that I can't choose between my clothes - I mean, how often do we get to wear summer clothes in this country?!

i find that when im going away for 2 weeks im more prepared to rinse t-shirts through so i dont have to take as many, and things like that....when im goin for three or four days i dont wanna be washing stuff

when i pack to go and visit my mum in ireland i always pack to much then i find it harder to pack for coming home(mostly because i dont want to leave) anyway we manage it but when i get back to my grandmas and open my case a big explosion of clothes is usualy what happens
well if this is any good advice try not to pack alot of things for when your going so you have room for things when its time to come home or get a bigger case
