Why is Flik's Flyers closed?

I just saw this on the refurbishment list for the days that we are there. Does anyone know why they are suddenly closed? My kids were looking forward to riding on them.

Probably something broke. So they put it on the rehab list for a few days to fix it.

I noticed it was closed when we were there Dec. 4. No advance notice that I saw. I initially thought it was because Bug's land was pretty slow that day (maybe they were running the rides in rotation?) but I bet it's down for repairs. That is a cute ride, even for a circular motion one.

It must have been on and off, cause we rode Flik's flyers a few days ago on the first day of this vacation (12/11) at night and looked like business as usual. It was lucky we took the whole of Bugs Land that first night.

When we were there the week after Thanksgiving, it wasn't working when we got to Bug's Land, they got it running, then the ride after us it broke again. So maybe they've been having alot of issues with it lately???

My grandson rode it last Sunday. We were walking by and there was literally 3 kids waiting and the ride was just ending - so we told him to go for quick spin.

We stopped by DCA again yesterday (Wednesday) 12/15 and it was still working.
