Awhile back I posted about criticism that I had received while at WDW. I received such great support from the Dis. However, once again I am being criticized. Can you please give me your opinion if I did anything wrong.

I had high expectations for this vacation as I was hoping the lines would be short since I was taking my kids out of school. It was the first 2 weeks of school and the teachers kept saying this was an important time and I shouldn’t take them out. But what do teachers really know about education, so I ignored them. But that is not my question.

We started out by going on a dark ride, and I started to take a lot of flash photography. All I could hear were these noisy little kids yelling “I can’t see, I can’t see - My Eyes!, My Eyes!”. I really wish parents could get their kids to be quiet during these rides – so distracting. But that is not my question.

Then my family decided to make an impromptu stop at Typhoon Lagoon. We were wearing all white and our clothes got wet and somewhat transparent. The kids there were pointing at me and the Mrs. and asking “What is that?” Parents really need to educate their kids. There wasn’t anything to be seen that isn’t taught in an anatomy class. But that is not my question.

Then I see my kids taking someone’s wheelchair and all 5 of them joyriding on it at the same time. Well, the wheelchair broke and almost injured one of my kids. I was so mad. People shouldn’t leave their defective wheelchairs lying around. My little angels could have been really hurt riding someone’s defective wheelchair. But that is not my question.

It was now time for dinner. We had five places to choose from as I had made 5 ADRs at the same time. But they didn’t want to go to any of those places, so I let them eat junk food. But that is not my question.

At this point it was the end of the day and I was very tired. I saw a baby in a stroller that was sleeping on a pillow. I took the pillow from the baby and used it for myself. My question is whether or not I should have done this. I don’t think babies are supposed to sleep on pillows, so I think I am somewhat of a hero! Not sure why the parents were so upset. What do you think?

I agree with you. Pillows are a smothering hazard for babies, so you did the right thing. ;)

This is hilarious. I always wondered what "these" people were thinking...

I guess that depends. Were you sipping coffee out of your reusable mug from 1996 while on your way to a resort you weren't staying at to swim in their pool?

Hmm, that depends. Did you swipe the pillow before or after cutting in front of the family's spot for the parade? (you know, so YOUR kids could see :thumbsup2)

These sarcastic, break the rules post are getting kind of tiring.

I think the post is funny- even though I wouldn't have taken the pillow from the baby. I would have stolen a stroller being used by a ten year old and made one of my family members push it.;)

So why are reading them and posting on them. I find it funny. When I don't like a thread I ignore it.

Lately there have been threads moved because they are not "Theme Park Attractions and Strategies" related. This isn't either. I like reading funny threads, or sarcastic ones, but not ones that rehash the same topic over and over for no reason. It's using up my bandwidth.

Oh, and before anyone jumps on me further, I didn't say you didn't have the right to read or post on them. I said they were getting tiring.

:lmao:
So did you take the baby's pillow back to your single resort room where all 7 of you are jammed in, expecting Mousekeeping to wash it for you? Oh wait, that's more of a Resorts question...:rolleyes1

If you think the posts are a violation of the Dis rules then click the little red ! triangle in the corner and report it. No need to post your displeasure in the threads, the mods don't have time to read them all and may not see your complaint. Using the proper notification system will help get these threads reported to the mods if you feel that is neccessary.

I don't get who has the time and lack of a life to make up a fake user name and type this up. Why is it funny :confused3

Too funny!!!! :rotfl: I might sue over that defective wheelchair. At least go to Guest Relations and ask for some free stuff for all your trouble.

To those who don’t see the humor in OP’s exaggerated examples of misbehaving guests, why are you posting? Aren’t there other places to spread your negativity? As for OP, keep them coming and thanks for making me laugh.
