Why Is Akl Concierge/club Level Cheaper Than Others?

I mean it really isn't cheap, LOL It is 10.00 shy of 400.00 a night for weekends and then during the week it is around 330.00/340.00 a night but...............it still is cheaper than other concierge like Poly, Beach, Boardwalk, etc. Why is this? Is it soley on location because at the others you are closer to the MK and EPCOT area and with AKL, you are further away from the actual theme parks, even though you have a savannah view and all the animals. Just curious.... Are they cheaper because there is a catch we don't know about with all this DVC stuff going on? I would really like to know if anyone has the answer We are currently booked at AKL concierge/club but are also looking into the Poly-garden view because of the monorail and other things. Poly is more a few dollars more than the AKL club for just a garden view. Weird pricing

I'm pretty sure the monorail resorts are always the most expensive. WL is much cheaper than any of the three on the monorail line and it's close to the MK but without the convenience of the monorail.

We were booked at the Poly for this coming week but we switched to AKL because there were no CL rooms available at the Poly. We have a 1 bdrm suite Cl booked at AKL arriving 3/1. I'll let you know if there is a CL catch when I get back on the 7th!

AKL & WL have always been the lower priced deluxe hotels. I do think location has a lot to do with it for both AKL & WL, and if I remember correctly the rooms are a few square feet smaller (but still bigger than a moderate).

I've heard wonderful things about AKL concierge, and the ability to do the sunrise safari would make it worth it to me. I've stayed concierge at WL, BC & Poly and found WL to be as good as BC concierge --I had a very poor experience with Poly concierge, so as far as I'm concerned anything is better than that.
