Why I'm anxious for Bush to declare war-or pray for DH!

DH is scheduled to go on a business trip to Morocco on Saturday. His only hope to get out of it is if Bush declares war-"There's no way I'll go to a Muslim country then!" Otherwise his employer (a French-owned company, BTW) expects him to go. And if that's not bad enough, he's going on Air France! I'm more than a little scared. We've been 1/2 kidding about working at WDW when we retire, but it's looking better all the time to do right now.

Well, looks like anytime from Wednesday night on, if Saddam doesn;t leave, then there may be a declaration of war. Not sure when, though, since he said something like a time of our choosing.

I wouldn't want to be traveling to Morocco I hope your husband doesn't have to go.

Hopefully, if it's not a crucial trip it can be delayed. If not, he's probably better off on Air France since they are less likely to be attacked since they are seen as "friends" of Iraq right now.

It's tough having a loved one who has to travel internationally any time but tougher right now. Hang in there and know that he is an experienced international traveler and probably knows by now how to keep a low profile.

That's a horrible expectation of your DH !! After listening to Bush tonight, I would think he'd have more than enough information to tell the company that the trip must be postponed.

At the least, I'd fly to France and then ask which of the execs were going to fly the rest of the way with him!!

I was travelling when 9/11 hit and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. That was something I couldn't change because it was so unexpected. This is war and it's coming within 48 hours.

No job is worth getting caught in a war !
