Why I love Japan

All of the above. I've never been to Japan, but it looks like it would be an interesting and lovely place to visit. Kaki goris would be at the top of my dd's favorite Japanese list. : )

I saw a news clipping of people in a village hauling snow to boil as drinking water and another group of people making chop sticks out of bamboo so they could eat when they get food. They take care of themselves, and each other. I admire their culture's courage and behavior during a crisis situation.

Isn't SONY a product from Japan? Either way I love NISSANS. By far the best car I ever owned.
Plus all the other stuff mentioned here. The people are so kind and thoughtful of one another and others of a different culture.

There are a few Japanese who hunt whales and kill dolphins yes, but about 98% of them don't

I have been to Japan and cannot even begin to describe how nice the people are. Extreamly helpful, respectful and kind.

I read that there has been no looting and it does not suprise me at all.

My former fiance's DM is half Japanese born and raised there. SHe is a wonderful woman even though things didn't work out with her son and myself. She said I would always be her daughter, even when he and I married other people.
