Why havent the finished POP

The buildings have been partially built for YEARS now. Basically since POP opened. But yet they still havent finished them or let alone build the otherside of the lake. I am going down again this weekend and staying at POP and im sure they will still be in the same condition.

The rersorts seem to be full a lot of the time throughout the year. They need to finish it so they can add those 2000+ rooms and make some room for us all. We will be at POP this weekend as well. We usually do Deluxe or Moderate, but all was full so i hope we like it. Hope to see you there

My understanding is that Pop was started before 9/11 and when tourism took a dive, construction was stopped. When things started to pick up a little the Classic Years was completed and all that is left to finish is the part on the other side of the lake. The Classic Years just celebrated its one year anniversary on Dec 14th (the day I checked out). Tourism *seems* to be picking up even more so hopefully Disney will finish the section across the lake. Right now it's kind of an eyesore. I at least wish that they would paint it so it doesn't look so ugly.

They did start pre-9/11 but where scheduled to be open in August. They pushed that back to October I belive then 9/11 happen and they pushed it back again to March.

Now I know the new ones are suppose to be 1900's-1940's I guess maybe the color Grey they are now is going to stay since those could be considered the depression.

I got told when the value resorts are back up to at least 70 to 80% capacity. They use to be at 90%.
