Why DVC?

1. It forces us to go on vacation

2. We've never had a bad vacation with Disney. Everything they do is done well. They're the only company I would ever have enough trust in to buy a timeshare.

3. We only have to save up $ for airfare, food and park tickets, but not accommodations. No, the accommodations aren't free, strictly speaking, but it sure feels that way when budgeting a trip!

mello, I thought I was the only one on these boards at this time of night! :thumbsup2

I bought DVC because:
1. I wanted to stay on-property in a nice resort--but cheaply.
2. It was a way to be sure that I could take regular vacations.
3. The grande villa really did it, even though I have only stayed in them twice. All that space! :goodvibes

absolutely #1 ~ knowing that we can ALWAYS get a room at BWV 11 months out :lovestruc
2 ~ flexibility: can trade out, rent
3 ~ great value, & it has appreciated since each of our 3 purchases

topmost was what my heart dictated (#1), thankfully the common sense issues (2 & 3) were also positive :thumbsup2

1) We work so we can go on vacation! We knew buying into DVC would allow us to take even more vacations. And we do!

2) Flexibility with the point system. We've never had a problem getting a reservation at any of the DVC properties we've stayed at. We took 2 cruises to Alaska with our points. We might never have gone without those points. Love the banking and borrowing options.

And the biggest reason we joined -

3) GRANDKIDS!!! We didn't have any when we joined. We now have 3 and 1 more on the way. It's great to be able to share Disney with family and friends!
