why don't people listen to me?!

i asked my grandmother not to turn the washing machine on because i had to do a ton of laundry for my mom, so she turned the machine on.

i asked her to please not put any clothes in the dryer cause its making funny noses, so she put clothes in and the dryer is now beyond broken.

i asked my grandfather to please not the leave the backdoor wide open because bugs and other creepy crawlies would get in, so he left it wide open and now theres a monster bee flying around, and has already stung me!

Grandparents??? Hmmm.....maybe their hearing wasn't what it used to be! Or like my Mother, she has "selective" hearing!

I didn't know that you knew my mom. She has the selective hearing and memory thing down pat. She's pretty good at the denial part as well. Sometimes those little things can just drive you up the wall, can't they?

Do your grandparents live with you or are they just visiting?

Sorry about the bee sting. I hope it doesn't hurt too bad.

They probably feel like because they are older and your grandparents that you shouldn't be telling them anything.

BTW, if it was a bee and it left it's stinger in you it won't be able to sting you again now. It will be dying soon. If it is a wasp type then unfortunately it can sting you again and it's death won't be momentary unless you smash it, lol.

there's no such thing as a dryer beyond broken...odds are the belt was going bad using it broke the belt..it would have broken for you so don't blame grandma......lighten up...


perhaps this is their way of paying you back for all the times you didn't listen to them as a child....LOL
