Why doesn't Teppanyaki give a DDE discount?

Whenever I see a list of Epcot restaurants that give a DDE dicount, Teppanyaki always seems to be absent from the list. Anybody know why?

They aren't owned or operated by WDW. They lease the space like HoB, Bongo's, Wolfgang Pucks, the Swan/Dolphin, etc.

You can get 10% off if you have an AP and dine there for lunch Monday-Friday.

I just love the DIS boards...no matter what I ask, there's always someone who knows the answer!

I'm not EVEN going to tell DH that we can't get the DDE discount there. I decided on all the PS except for the World Showcase lunch...I steered him to the Allearsnet.com menus and asked him to choose and he chose Teppanyaki. If I tell him, I fear he'll change hs mind.

Edited to add: Just read the post about the AP discount. We will have an AP and it will be Friday. Cool.
