Why does Nancy always have an almost-gone beverage in her hand on Weeds??

I recently started watching this on the TV Guide channel, and it's driving me crazy. Is there a reason for it? Or is it just her thing, like Joey saying "How YOU doin'?!" on Friends?

Went to get my license renewed yesterday and the guy says, "Has anyone ever told you you look like Mary-Louise Parker from Weeds?" My head went immediately to the bar scene with the guy from Saved by the Bell and I turned beet red!

And, no, I wasn't carrying a half-empty frappuccino.

Well, I'm gonna say congratulations because I think she's gorgeous. Always have. She hasn't quite risen to Girl Crush status yet, but you never know. Ha.

The drink thing drives me batty though. Maybe it's usually because I watch several episodes at a time and I notice it more? IDK.

I've seen every episode. That's her thing. A friend of mine dressed as Nancy Botwin for Halloween this year, she had on her tank top, with leather jacket, mini skirt and cute shoes. Topped with a Starbucks iced coffee! LOVED IT!

If I didn't have laryngitis, I wanted to scream, "NO!!" when the show ended on Monday night. I can't wait for this week to see how Nancy will get out of this predicament.
