Why does my 4 yo SCREECH so much????

Whenever ds "talks" to his baby sister, now 6 mo, he uses the most annoying voice and screeches at her! Given-she loves it! But it is so ANNOYING to dh & I. I feel like I'm constantly saying "STOP IT!".

funny my 5 year old has started doing this for no reason or to anyone! I think it is because we have been in the house so much he needs to let out some energy! Thank Goodness it is a nice day out and he can play and run!

When will that be? When she is 12??? I could be annoyed by this for a very long time! ugh!

Oh boy....not to upset you further but my DS is 7 1/2 years old & he is still using that same high pitched screeching voice when he speaks to his baby brother (15 months)! I know what you mean about it being very annoying!

Hey not to incite a fight here or anything...but I think he does it because you let him. Obviously saying "stop it" isn't working, so maybe you should look into other options for curbing this behavior before it gets out of control and spreads into other things!
