I am looking at taking my DS (age 9) to IOA on April 15th - why does it close so early on a Friday night??? The rest of the month it closes between 8pm and 10pm. Is there something special going on that night or could it possibly be a mistake?
Thanks for the help!

That's the first night of Grad Bash 2011. There are four nights...4/15 & 4/30 as well as 5/6 & 5/7.

We are going next week and they close at 6PM. Sure which they stayed open later.

They usually close early when the slow season begins. HP has helped but it's still slow at the Studios so I guess it's back to the early closings for a while.

Do they clear the park before starting Grad Night? Would it be a good afternoon to visit - if we were able to be there from noon till 5pm? We are only going for WWoHP. Or should I take him for park opening on Saturday morning (4/16)?
Thank You!

UO sweeps the park starting at closing time and all guests have to be out at about 1/2 hour before an event starts.

Security walks the entire park to make sure it is clear.

As far as 6pm closing at IOA - usually if IOA closes before 7 it is because there is a private event that evening.

The park is cleared before any after hours (private) event so you would be asked to leave if you were still there after closing. You should be OK going in the afternoon but just remember your timing and don't get involved in something that will keep you there after 5pm.
