Why does EE cause motion sickness to some of you??

so sick and weak I had to get paramedics!!!!!

they checked his blood pressure and blood sugar and both were fine so they took him First aid so he could sleep--they said it was a combination of the heat and motion sickness

guest relations even took us back to our hotel (CBR) were he slept (I had gone to the MK around 830 and got back around 1130 and he slept while I was gone.

It sure wasnt a fun way to spend our last nite but the next AM he felt fine and flew home with no problems

I have also heard about the motion sickness that is caused by the "backward" motion of the ride. I want to ride EE, so I am taking Dramamine that morning so hopefully the motion sickness won't rear its ugly head. :teeth:
Good idea! I think it is the backwards motion plus the corkscrew turn. I just started getting car sick when not driving about 6 months ago and after EE I didn't ride another coaster while at WDW. I should have known better, but the newness of this ride got the best of me!

Hi,
It did not cause out right motion sickness but made me feel "a little off" for the rest of the day. It was the part backwards part that through me a little. Give it a try once for yourself.

Yup ... me too. Totally surprised me ... I love all the coasters. I've posted before about this ... it was more of an "out of sorts" feeling for a couple of hours. Not really a nauseus (sp?) feeling ... I was still able to do lunch. Weird. A friend of mine who LOVES MS and does it several times in a row, had a similar reaction to EE and was out of commision for the day.
As a contrast ... my "roller-coaster buddy" (DD12) loved it and wanted to go again ...
It really is a great ride ... I was dissappointed in my reaction! :confused3

Same here. Never before has any roller coaster bothered me, but something about that backwards corkscrew motion made my head hurt a little for about 30 minutes. I guess it didn't help too much that I rode it three times in rapid succession, either. :teeth:

I am a ride "chicken" from the get-go. I am always worried about getting that "sick" feeling. We rode EE twice this past June and I did not feel sick in the least. Go ahead and do it. Enjoy!!

I lost a perfecty good Narcoosee's Surf & Turf because BTMRR. (Or maybe it was that bus ride back to YC that pushed me over the edge.) Either way, no EE for me! :rolleyes1
