I'm used to paying no sales tax when I buy from retailers who don't have a store in my state. Now that Disney no longer owns the Disney stores, why do they still charge sales tax to people outside of Florida and California who buy tickets on line?
We asked this question of a Disney Store employee in Delaware, where there is no sales tax, about the regular park tickets. She said that all tickets and APs are considered to be sold in Florida, thus incurring tax regardless of where you are physically when you purchase them. Disney Stores and WOD don't get credit for any tix they sell. It is all based out of Florida.
