Why do you love the DTD Resorts?

We might jump ship next year(stay off-site) and try a DTD resort. So I want to hear all the great positive reasons why DISers stay at any of the DTD resorts.

We stayed at the LBV BestWest. last fall. Really liked the proximity to DTD. Gave you a similar feel as the BW or the BC with their boardwalk. Of course, as nice a hotel as those two but I really felt more "on property" than the values for sure.

We are going to be staying at the Regal Sun over the holidays for a weekend before our DVC stay. I prefer the location and the price over the values.

If you have small kids, they certainly don't have the same atmosphere as the disney locations, but I think it breaks even with the ability to walk over to DTD.

I would definately recommend a Disney view. We could watch the Epcot fireworks from our bed! Can't get that from most Disney resorts!
