oh no no no....I would have flipped out if my mom had done this! My room was exactly that, MINE...it was my space and if I wanted it to be a pig sty that was fine with my mom (as long as we are not talking old food or dishes laying around) when it got to the point of being really bad she would just close the door so no one else would see it LOL....but it was my space, she never cleaned in there or made me do it, I did it when I wanted to or got tired of it being really messy...eventually I grew out of that and kept the room neat but thinking back now I am very happy that she respected my personal space and let me have my own space. I would never do that to my daughter either////
