I work for the competition.....there is nothing better than the snow people. Everyone fills their tank up? Why, you can't go anywhere![]()
Because by the time you dig out your car the battery might be dead and you need to jump start it then let it run to recharge. Or you may need to head out before the roads are perfectly clear and get stuck on the road. If so, you'll want enough gas to be able to run the car every so often to avoid freezing to death.
That said, I passed on topping off my tank on the way home from the grocery tonight. I have half a tank and the nearest station is 2 miles away. I went to the store to replenish depleted supplies from the weekend. No bread or milk though. Just some canned soup, fruit, and stuff for cooking/eating with power and without.
