Men in Black is a nice fun family ride, why do they need to ruin it with all that spinning???

Same with Cat in the Hat.... it is a nice family ride, that would be even more enjoyable for younger children without that rough spinning.

I don't find it add anything to either ride and actually makes it LESS enjoyable.

Am I the only one?

I'm sure you're not the only one... but I'm pretty sure you're in the minority.

That little bit of spinning doesn't bother me at all.

I thought it doesn't spin enough.:goodvibes

Sure it does: spinning. ;)

I take it you didn't go on Storm Force Acceletron then? :goodvibes

I guess we probably are in the minority, but I have to say that I went on MIB a couple of times in the past with absolutely no problems, occasional spinning included. and then the last time I went it spun really hard and A LOT, and this ruined it for me. I didn't go back after that time.

I've been going to IOA since its opening and have never ridden SFA. :sad2:

Really?

I've only been on it once.... no more.... I was just passing by after riding Hulk that day and decided to try it out...

Marquibiri :thumbsup2

It isn't any different. You just had someone hitting your exhaust port. You've got to get theirs too!!!

I enjoy the spinning on Cat in the Hat and MIB. I'm not a fan of Storm Force because I don't want to spin the whole time but a couple of times is fine.

I can't ride it, I get motion sickness on the stinking swings at the local fair, but MiB, Cat in the Hat, etc. don't bother me. Interestingly, neither do coasters. It's just repeated spins and 3D movies (I don't wear the glasses on Spiderman).

I discoverd today that even a little spinning isn't good (should have known this after I made by 8 year old stop spinning us on the Buzz Lightyear ride at Magic Kingdom). Unfortunately, I also discovered motion simulators aren't good either. So, no more MIB and Simpsons :sad2:. I blame my kids, though.... Until I had them, I had a cast iron stomach and could go on anything. Last time we visited US/IOA, I was pregnant with my 10 yr DD and I sobbed while my husband rode the Hulk because I wanted to be on it!

I love the spinning! In fact, I think Cat in the Hat used to spin more than it does now
Some like it, some dont

I really don't like how Men In Black or Cat In The Hat Spins. On my last trip to Universal, I was the only one in my family to ride Men In Black, if it didn't spin, everyone in my family would have ridden it. With Cat In The Hat, 1 person in my family didn't ride it at all because of the spinning (and that would have been one of the very few rides at IoA they would have ridden), and 2 other people in my family said they would maybe ride it once a trip.

They should have kept it as an option to disable the spinning on Cat in the Hat like they used to (unfortunately this past January was our first trip to IoA).

I suffer from motion sickness and have no problems on either of these rides. The spinning on MIB isn't that bad to me. The Cat in the Hat used to spin a lot more than it does now - we actually liked it better when there was more spinning.

Many people love spinning, just as some people love big drops, or going upside down, or sudden accelerations, etc. I think the spinning enhances the rides.
