Why do they ask this question when you call for ADR's...?

"Are you on any type of dining plan?".....

What difference would this make to anyone when all I'm doing is getting a time for some dining reservations? I can't see how this could affect the outcome of my meal? (the last lady I spoke to..I told her "yes..I plan on gaining 5 lbs before I make it back home...lol")

Does anyone else find this odd....or just me and my hubby? They come across with an attitude about it too which is weird.

Why do they ask this question.......?

I think they just try to collect as much info as possible about the people that are callin, whether it is relevant or not.

It doesn't seem odd to me. They gather a lot of information. Plus, they are then able to let you know information that may be relevant if you are on the dining plan such as which restaurants are 2 credits or how the credit card payment works with CRT when you are on the plan.

They asked me too if I was staying onsite. Dunno why. I didn't think about any of the questions. One of the ADR's he gave me directions too so I guess they just want an over all count. Maybe they keep track to see how popular it is. Who knows....I just want the food!

I believe they ask if you are staying onsite to verify that you can make your adr's. I thought only resort guests could make them at the 180 day mark. i could be wrong though.

Anyone can make ADR's at 180 days. Only resort guests can make them for up to 10 days of their stay at that time.
