Why do the Olympic divers run to the shower after every dive?

Because they don't want green hair from the chlorine.

Maybe the water is cold, and for the guys, well, you know what that means. Maybe they need hot water in the shower, then.

I never thought of that....I know if I jumped (or was pushed) from where they jump from, the pool would need to be cleaned.

Couple of guesses, maybe to warm up a little (if the pool itself is cold) before they towel down to help prevent their muscles getting too cold. Maybe to protect their swim suits (also their hair and eyes) from the chlorine affecting them.

Lol, it's probably to warm up and to wash off the chlorine!

I'm a lap swimmer, so I'm in the pool a lot. Sometimes I feel like chlorine is leeching out of my pores, even after I've taken a shower!
