Why do some threads not post because of certain words in the title???

It's happened to me a few times. I have to misspell some words (or use other words that sound the same). It's really weird. I just tried to start a thread with "time share" in the title. It never posted but the system says there is a duplicate thread but it's not visible.

Are you sure that has to do with certain words? I had that problem earlier today and there was a thread earlier that a few people were saying they had the same problem. It took me 3 tries to get mine to post finally.

I'm pretty sure it does. It wouldn't post with the words "time share" in the title so I changed it to "tiime share" and it took. Try it for yourself. I think it's done to prevent spammers but it really would be nice to get some sort of warning.

I have had posts where I would try 3 times in a row..and then it gets hung up.

So when I change the wording to something completely different (think a space holder post)...it posts successfully and then I go back and paste in what I really wanted (including original wording of thread title).

And these are very benign topics--we had a thread on WISH that did that. A weekly posted that is worded exactly the same every single week except for the date.

I guess it didn't like the number "30".

Well I just tried to post a thread "Time share time share time share" LOL and both times nothing happened, I was just directed to the Community Board page.

Now I just tried "a TIME to SHARE it" and again the same thing happened. Maybe my account is just screwy tonight.
