Why do I need convincing? PLEASE HELP!!!!

My DH and I are planning our trip to disney. 3 children 5,5,7. He really wants to stay at BC. I dont know I'm worried because there is no food court. Calling all veterans to help me out here. Is it a good place to stay with children???? What if we want to grab something quick to eat!!! ANY and all info would be apprecaited.

I have never stayed at the BC...but here would be my reasons to avoid it...

1. The pool is soooo large and it would be hard for 2 parents to keep up with those ages of children....more stressful for me.

2. The rooms are larger at the Poly and it has a food court as well as monorail access...our children are 9, 6, & 5 and they are still MK kids all the way...we spend the majority of our time there and it's GREAT to be able to monorail back to the hotel for a swim and be back in under 2 hours.

3. Our children LOVED the Poly's themed pool, the boat ride option to MK, feeding the fish off the dock, eating at 'Ohana's and heading back to our room, seeing the fireworks from the beach...etc. etc. etc.

I really want to stay at BC/YC eventually but not until my children are all over the age of 9 or so and I know I don't need to watch them every second in the pool.

We stayed at the BC with a 3 and 7 year old and loved, loved, loved it!! The pool is amazing. It has a sand bottom, a lazy river, whirlpool, waterslide, zero depth entry with a sand bottom for sitting and building sandcastles and a smaller waterslide with a shallow pool for my 3 y/o. The fact that it didn't have a food court never even bothered us - actually we didn't even think twice about it. We stopped at the store ahead of time and kept some snacks, juice boxes, etc. in the room and anytime anyone needed a snack we just grabbed something. The fridge in our room was much bigger than what I expected. We actually could have purchased alot more food. We kept milk, juice, grapes, cereal, etc. and it worked out great!

We have actually stayed previously at CB and All Star Movies and actually did not use the food courts that much. My other reason for choosing the BC would be the close proximity to Epcot and MGM. We loved being able to take that short walk to Epcot or a quick boat ride to MGM. We also found ourselves taking the monorail from Epcot to go to MK just because the monorail is such a relaxing ride.

I am sure that you will be fine with whatever you choose but my personal favorite is the BC

We too are huge Beach club fans. Stayed there many many times. The food court IMHO is not an issue. You have many options for quick bites in the parks and then at the hotel there is Beaches and Cream. It serves a continental breakfast- quick and you can take out and they serve burgers ect all day long. Also you are so close to the Boardwalk that you can walk on over there for some yummy fries or crepes or hotdogs or whatever you want. You are a walk from Epcot and that is where we always ended up for dinner. Often just greabbing fish and chips at the cart in London(and they have beer yippee)- delicious and hot dogs and fries for the kids. The pool will be a huge hit with your kids. While it is large, chances are they will all stay together at either the sinking sand or the whilrpool area. Also there is a GREAT little pool behind the slide that many people miss. It has 2 smaller slides for children just your age. My kids spent most of their time in that pool. I would give it a HUGE thumbs up. The only reason we are not staying there this time is that we added two little people to our family and with an infant and toddler we need the monorail. Have a blast and you will LOVE this hotel.
