I thought that was something that went along with the updating and would eventually be resolved, but it has been some time and it's a little sad not to be remembered anymore :(

It doesn't happen when I use my smartphone, just my home computer.

I'll join you in the land of the "forgotten" :) Since the update to the servers it logs me out each time. My phone keeps me logged in though.

Same thing happens to me. It also logs me out every hour or so after I log in. :-(

On the computer I normally DIS on I had to clear cookies over and over.

It didn't work until I did it off line, through the control panel.

Same thing happens to me!! I find it super annoying!

Ski: I have no idea what cookies are, or where my control panel is located. Is this something anybody can do?

Funny, I don't have that issue. DIS remembers me everytime I enter the boards. Could it be your browser?

Go to your internet tools and options. Under that there is an option to delete/clear your cookies.

Log off the DIS, clear your cookies, and log on again. That SHOULD take care of it.

I was getting annoyed having to login each and every time.

Deleting the cookie for www.disboards worked.

Thank you!

What kind of operating system and browser are you using?

I use Google Chrome, and I don't know what kind of operating system I have. Is that the kind of computer? It has a sticker that says Windows 7, and intel core inside, and it says Hp on top. Does that help?

It has a sticker that says Windows 7,

To find the control panel, hit the start button, select "Control Panel" from the list on the right.

The Contril Panel window will open. Select "Network and Internet"

Then on the third row "Internet Options", select "Delete Browsing history"

This wil open a new window called "Internet Properties".
Select "Delete" from the History section.

This bring up a window with boxes to select from. It did not work for me until I selected all of the boxes.

I did this while offline.

Thanks, I'll try this!! Awesome details for a computer idiot like me!

I hope it works. Several times , I stayed logged in and it looked good, until I shut it off and then I had to log in again.

It wasn't until I had my computer disconnected from the internet that it finally worked.

Hope this is it for you.

I agree, just clear your cookies, cookie and that should work, it did for me, and I only had to do that one time.

~~ I love you Phil and you will forever be with me! Forever my very best and most special friend! I love you to no end. ~~

THANK YOU!!! Skiing, you were right about checking all of the boxes. I'd cleared the cookies multiple times but after I checked all of the boxes, I had success.
