Why did Jerry Springer go bad?

I remember many years ago his talk show had NORMAL topics. Now the average guest on the show wants to confront the woman who had an affair with her husband who's a transvestite. It's totally disgusting! Does anyone know WHY Jerry Springer turned bad?

I just saw on the News that Jerry Springer will be doing "Dancing With The Stars" on their upcoming new season....ODD!

BTW: He is a moron and he stands there allowing people to make complete fools of themselves and with no resolution at all. I think I have tolerate the show MAYBE 4 times in the entire time the show has been on the air. Does he really think he makes a difference in their lives with that 20 second blurb he states at the end of the show. IDIOT. It appears to me that most of the people he has on the stage are just poor souls baring their horrid, sad tale to America. I think it is so wrong he is allowed to do that and MAKE MONEY off of all this dysfunction.

I've only seen snippets of this show - in waiting rooms. Not for one second do I believe those guests are not acting.

Springer has always been 'bad'. He is a former Mayor of Cincinnati and also served on City Council. During which, he was forced to resign after hiring a prostitute and paying her with a personal check. Brilliant huh?

Believe it or not, he's still getting ratings. I literally had to stop watching it because I would actually feel nauseous. And don't watch it around Thanksgiving, whem they put out a table full of food so that people can throw it at each other and mash potatoes in each others faces.

And then you have the 60 yr old lady in the audience who gets up and says "I WANT MY JERRY BEADS!" while pulling up her shirt to show off her wrinkly OO's
