Why Concierge?

THIS IS WHY!! I've had a HDDR reservation booked for over six months that's for NEXT July. As fate would have it I needed to modify it to add an additional person....8 instead of 7. Dining could NOT do it. They told me nothing was available for that day for 8 and that the ressie could not be modified to just add a person at the table. They asked me if I wanted to cancel the one for 7 since I wouldn't be able to use it now. I said no. I called back.....the same thing. I contacted YC concierge and withing 10 minutes I had a confirmation MODIFYING my existing reservation to 8. I asked how? They said dining cannot do it but they called the HDDR box office and had them do it directly. Now that's service. I LOVE concierge. It's been a blessing everytime I've used them.

I know what you mean. It is nice to be spoiled. I love staying in concierge and try to do it at least once a year (even for a weekend..we are going to AKL concierge in March with a combined stay at SOG)

We often stay in concierge and I have found that they can work miracles. Cinderella reservations, pirate cruise, etc. Your reservation is also coded as a concierge guest and, although I am not positive, it seems we get great tables. For instance, at England, we were seated in a prime outside table next to Michael Eisner's for Illuminations.

It is expensive so I try to stay half concierge and half at a more reasonable resort. My favorite was the AKL and Poly. AKL's sunrise safari is amazing!

Yep, that's exactly why we stay concierge. The rest is just icing on the cake.
