Hi everyone, I was wondering why CD is being talked about so much on this board. I've visited this board a while ago last year and I had seen offers discussed..I was looking for reviews on scholastic offers and have gotten great information about it.
but now all i see are CD offers being discussed.

thanks in advance,
Sara

Btw, I'm very familiar with offers and CD and GPTS, just curious why it's the only site discussed :)

Its not the only one discussed.. you just see a lot more right now because it is newer to most of us.

Most of us also use sunshine rewards and quick rewards also... as well as a few other rp's

Cashduck pays well, and is not as well known on the boards as SR.
Also, now that SR has their own boards, I think many people (including myself) are more likely to post over on those boards.

I think it is talked about a lot because there are a lot of possibilities to make good $$ on CD because of the payout amounts and the amount of offers that Kira posts.

I have had lots of luck. Over $700 in 5 weeks.

Cash duck is talked about alot because you can make good money from the site. Alot of us have just started using it within the last month or two.

I do other sites as well which are also talked about here. I'm a reward program addict!

I think I'm an addict too! I joined over 20 sites already :rotfl:

Does anyone have a referral link to Sunshine rewards? I'd like to see what I'm missing out on ;)

I think I signed up for quickrewards already but haven't done offers there..and usually if I never did an offer and forget about the site, it's because the site's offers don't pay high enough.
Btw, i'm having trouble logging into QR to check my account. ..is it a shiftcode site by any chance?
Shiftcode sites have undergoing server changes.

thanks for clarifying that for me, I didn't realize CD is new here. I've been with CD when she first opened it. I was first very impressed with her philosophy and have done offers and cashout many times. But as of late, there's nothing to draw me there since I've become aware of other sites that have higher paying contests as well as higher paying offers. (I just noticed someone mentioned RHC, and that's one site I know pays higher than CD. )

Most of these sites have amazing customer support so what I look at are their payouts and I compare the offer at a few sites to see who's paying more.
I also love contests especially one where everyone wins and CD has had any that I know of.

Referral links are forbidden on the DIS, but you can PM someone to ask for one.
Sunshinegirl is a DISer, and she's been known to use us as guinea pigs for offers. :)

CD is the "hot" RP right now because it is new to most of us. Plus there are alot of us that have made significant $$$ with CD just since April!

I really only do 3 rewards programs, SR, CD and MyPoints. I have been able to finance most of 2 trips to WDW this year with those 3 site alone :thumbsup2

Sorry, I didn't realize that. I have 2 pms already though :)

I trust CD and I also trust these other sites too. You probably think 20+ is a lot of sites to join.

even though i cant log into QR, I was able to get to their blog and look at offers.

If I had a choice between 2 good trustworthy sites and one site is paying $5 for "helium" offer and the other is paying $1 (which QR is doing), I'd have to go with the one paying higher.

that's why I try out new sites. I dont think there's a reason for me to stick with one site really especially if I continually see that the offers don't compare.

Now that being said if there's a great contest, and there's a chance i can win, I'd definitely do that site since the prize will makeup for the lower payouts.

Do you check the remember me button? That should keep you logged in. Also, if you are doing a bunch of rewards and deleting your cookies often, it will also delete the cookie that keeps you logged in. I wish there was a way I could do the rewards, delete my cookies and not lose my settings everytime! Oh well, that's the price you pay for earning money :rotfl2:

you're right, I never did check that!

Did you ever download ccleaner by any chance? It works great for IE.
For Firefox, I use cookieculler extension.

with both programs, you can save/protect the sites' cookies. :thumbsup2

I remember how much of a hassle it was to be logged out all of the time. You should definitely try it =)

I'm thinking of joning Cash duck so a little extra money for our disney trip next year.

Has anyone ever had a problem with this company when giving out your credit card or debti card info. Just curious before signing up.

I approach the rewards programs differently. I researched and looked at many sites before I found a couple that were a good fit for me. (i am an overplanner/over~organizer by nature:blush: ) For me I would rather invest quality time in a couple of sites that I trust and enjoy. Maybe I could find another site that would pay me a few dollars more for an offer that is on 'my ;) preferred site...but customer service is very important to me. I would rather do the offer there for a little bit less, knowing that if I have a question or a problem with an offer etc.. that I can count on receiving excellent customer service. Plus I could never :sad2: keep track of what I did where if I was working 20 sites! I guess the key to success on rewards sites is finding the best fit for you personaly. :goodvibes

good point! would you believe I spend more time researching than I do offers lol

Luckily all the sites I know have amazing customer service so that's not an issue. Definitely I don't recommend rude arrogant sites like Instantprofitz..one of the higher paying site.

But with all sites being equal with their superior customer service, I then look to their payouts. Sites you might know of are RHC or cashcafe, both , amazing admins just like CD but both manage to pay higher on most offers.

I really do like Kira and many people adore Heidi at CashCafe as well as Candace at RHC. All of these 3 sites have been known to give out credit out of their own pockets when the affiliate denies an offer.
I experienced this at RHC..she paid me for 2 noncredits even though the affiliate never paid her for it. ..this is after I had submitted proof of doing the offer of course. ;)

So sure, I completely agree with you, good C.S. is the key but if all sites have the same level of service, I'd go with the higher paying site.

btw, I need to clarify that I dont do offers at all 20+ sites. that would drive me insane! lol :rotfl:

I join new sites just to see what they have to offer. And if they pay high and are great w/ support, I do offers there as well.

do you ladies keep your offers on spreadsheets btw? A friend of mine told me about them and I absolutely love it. :thumbsup2

Mickey, sites like these don't give out any of your info.
It's the offers or signups that you have to worry about.

If you have Bank of America or citibank cards, you're in luck because those are the BEST options to do offers. (their Virtual numbers allow you to set a spending limit to prevent any unauthorized charges)

If not, please do not use your debit card or creditcard. A good amount of people have been having problems with unauthorized charges.

Most of us use use prepaid gift cards..(the only thing about them are the activation charges .. $3 - $5). Or you can use the PayPal debit card (do NOT use the virtual paypal debit card)
