Why can't I place my Amazon order?

I am on Amazon, in my shopping cart, proceeding to check out, but I can't go any further. I tried to mark the Super Saver box and when I do, the screen goes blank. Then I just kept the shipping fee and tried to place an order and the same thing...blank, grey page.

I can do everything else, search, add to cart, etc...but can't check out. Could this service just be down??

I was wondering the same thing. Last week I went through all of the steps, made it to the last page and was satisfied that I had successfully placed my order. When I hadn't received my books a week later, I got back online and everything was still sitting in my shopping cart. I was sure that I had confirmed my order, then I second guessed myself, but now I'm back to wondering if I'm really a ditz or if Amazon is messed up.

I finally got my order to go through. I could get the shipping choice, but no final order placement. Then I finally was able to place the order. I just kept trying every 15 minutes or so.
