Why Can't I Get Tony's Reservation in December?

Hi all! I just did my dining reservations for my December trip this morning at the 180 mark and I was able to get everything I wanted other than Ohana (not surprising) and Tony's. I am shocked that I couldn't get a Tony's reservation for any night of my 8 day trip. I was even able to get BOG! Does anyone know whats going on with that restaurant in December? TIA!

I think that Disney is slowly adding their availability to the website. Posters are reporting difficulty getting a lot of ADR's that normally are not that difficult even after 180 days. I hope that is the issue, because I need to make my ADR's on the 13th, and I have a few that I am afraid will be difficult. Normally I just move on, but this is the first visit for my DS and DDIL and there are a few favorites of mine I want them to experience. with us.

Perhaps it could have something to do with the Christmas party. I have noticed that Tony's fills up on party dates. Now, that doesn't explain why Tony's isn't available for any of your 8 nights. That is really, really weird.

I made my ADRs yesterday and couldn't get Tony's for dinner so we made it for lunch instead. I got BOG on our party night with no problems. I thought that was strange.

I just saw on Kenny the Pirate's website that they're doing a package for lunch at Tony's and special seating for MSEP (I guess kind of like the Fantasmic! package at DHS). So that might be affecting availability.

THANK YOU for this! I couldn't get Ohana at 6:00 this morning (I even tried calling around 9:00). Just saw your post and went to the website and I got it for the date and time I wanted!!! **Happy Dance!***

I just got it myself today - was trying to pick up a reservation from a coordinated drop and it never showed up and while i was there i put in my first choice date and it was suddenly available! When I called to make my ADRs on Saturday the CM said they had not even been loaded yet and apparently she was right. SO glad I could spread a little pixie dust
