Why can't I get emails from Disney?

This probably sounds like a stupid question, but whatever is sent to me from disney is can't seem to receive, reservation confirmations and while we were there last week I forgot about this and in Epcot we sent some pictures from the spaceship earth ride and I did'nt receive them. I must have Disney blocked some how but I don't see where. I could be receiving discount offers and I don't even know about it. I'm not real computer savy, any ideas? Thanks, Linda :)
 
check your spam folder. If you open up an email in that folder, across the top someplace should be a button for "not spam" which will then send it back to your inbox. You might have to do it several times since disney has several email address. The other option is to go into your options menu, and select anything with disney in the address be sent to your inbox.

Most email programs will not search you spam box if you try to use the search engine. I get emails from about 5 different disney addresses. Disney Insider, Community Leaders, Movie Rewards, Special offers, DVC... any time I can tell them my email address, I do.
 
Although I do recieve Disney offers and emails I have tried to email pics from Innovations twice before and never received them either nor did they go to my spam account.
 

I don't even have any in my Spam folder and I have gone over my email address with disney many times. I still can't figure it out. Linda :)
 
I haven't been able to receive my confirmation number for my reservations that I made last week. I've since called Disney twice to have them resend the e-mail, and neither time have I gotten the information. Thankfully, the second CM offered to just tell me the confirmation number, so I'm set.
 
Is it by any chance a Comcast email account? I have Comcast and am not able to get any Disney reservation emails. I have to have them sent to a Yahoo email account. It seems that Comcast is blocking alot of emails that are not spam. It doesn't even show up in spam folder. I have contacted them about it, but it was never resolved.
 
Mine (I've now given them two) were road runner and yahoo adresses. Nothing in the spam box either
 
I have a local telephone co. internet service, only 2 choices in my area. I have a yahoo acct but I never think to check it, it's mainly for my junk email but I may have to give it to Disney and maybe I can get emails that way. Linda :)

I have an account with Disney movie rewards - quite a while back - I couldn't remember my account name, so I registered again, but then realized that I already had an account. So, I never go to this 2nd account, I always put my codes on the first account. Well, I also have an account with Disneyworld.com and DVCmember.com and the disney store. Well, apparently, I must have 3 or 4 accounts, that I didn't realize all of them for Disney, even though they are different websites, you can use the same one for all things Disney.

Well, what happened is every time I go to Disneymovierewards.com - I have a message that says they are trying to send me emails, but it won't go through, I need to update my profile. I checked my profile, it has the correct email address, so I ignored it. I never get any emails, so I decided to change my email address to my work email and this worked fine, I'm got a few emails - so I wanted to change it back to my personal email. That is where the problem came in - now it is telling me that I have more than one account and I should only use the one that doesn't have any points on it. It locked me out of the other account and I couldn't get on DVCmember.com either.

On the website, I can only find an email, no phone number, so I sent an email and it says they will get back to me in 3 days. It's been 2 days, I'm still waiting. Meanwhile, I called the phone number for DVC members and told them I couldn't log on to the website - well after 20 minutes or so, they told me I need to use another member name and password - which must be my 3rd account that I opened, not realizing that I already had an account - It works except this account doesn't give me my movie reward points - I have over 3000 points and it is driving me crazy - I don't want to lose my points.

Anyway, my point to this story is that if you have more than one account with the same email address, it may block all emails and until you change the it to where only one account has your email address, you won't get emails.

The same sort of thing happened to me! I didn't create a 2nd account, but Disney Movie Club told me the system was "confused" b/c I was registered with WDW, DMC, Disney Movie Rewards, & Disney Shopping. I used to get e-mails from ALL 4 of them, & now I don't get e-mails from ANY of them. To top it off, I can't log in to DMR to add more movie points :sad2: It's so frustrating!
 
I did'nt think of this I used to be a member of the disney movie club and I've made purchases from disney shopping so maybe this is messing me up. I always here about these great pin codes people get and I feel envious maybe this is why I can't get them. I'll have to see what I can do. Thanks, Linda :)

I was the same way ... never got a code. I went to the website and did some quotes and I think I logged in before hand. A few weeks later, I got my first pin!
