Why Can't I Delete My Own Post???

I accidently double posted on a thread. I went to delete the extra post and it told me I wasn't authorized to do so...or something along those lines. The wierd thing is, I can edit it in other ways but I still can't delete???

It's been that way for awhile, I'm not sure why the mods changed that.
You just have to type that it was a double post and leave it at that.
