Why can you not modify some reservations online?

It's kind of weird. I've had a thanksgiving week hotel room reserved for months, and I've changed the reservation a few times-- added someone, changed resorts, etc. Except for adding the person I have been able to do all my changes online. Now this reservation has the attached message that I can't modify or cancel it online, and must call Disney directly. (I wanted to add MDE info which can be done on the modify form usually). It is one of three existing reservations I have, and the only one without a modify or cancel button. I don't think there is anything different about this reservation in particular. It's been this way for a few weeks, so it doesn't seem to be a temporary glitch. So what gives? Is God just trying to keep me from modifying to upgrade to club level, lol?

I hit the modify button on an upcoming reservation just to see what happened and everything glitched and then the modify button went away. This was a couple weeks ago. It still hasn't returned.

I hit modify and got free dining...worked fine for me. That was four months ago.

Just wondering is this booked under any sort of discount? My packaged booked on a sports discount does not let me modify anything on my own.

It's a room only reservation booked under the annual pass discount, but so is my res for next week that I can still modify. I literally have three same type reservations and this is the only one that can't be modified. And it could until a few weeks ago.
