Why as a VIP share thread deleted?

We are looking into doing the VIP tour at Disneyworld since we are arriving during Easter, and don't want to wait for all the rides as much. I posted a thread asking if there was a place or another thread for those families that are looking to join with other families on the VIP Tour, since the Tour accommodates up to 10 people. The thread was subsequently deleted because it was dubbed a "For Sale" thread, which is entirely not true. It's for families looking for other families to join in on a VIP Tour - there is nothing for sale about it.

There are a lot of people posting on TripAdvisor putting out their dates of travel and looking for sharing families, so I thought for sure there must be something on DIS about it, but I couldn't find anything.

Why was the thread deleted? Do the mods really think it was a "for sale" thread? It definitely was not, and wasn't advertising anything, except asking if there was already another thread about it or a place already to post something like that.

My guess is that is has to do with the exchanging of money. Photopass (now Memory Maker) shares have been banned here for quite some time.

That's really a shame - this would be the absolute best place for families to join together on a VIP tour.
