Why are people dumping Vero Beach contracts?

I'm with Tinks. I purchased VB and am in the process of buying some more. To me, when you go to WDW you are predominantly going for the parks so I don't really care which property I stay at. There are an abundance of rooms at WDW and all of them are high quality. I personally would like to see DVC go with more offsites. Even though they sold out at a much slower pace they still sold out. I agree with the earlier poster who feels the offsites will become more and more attractive as an alternative.
