I have a Canon Powershot S70 and when I try to email pictures they end up being quite large. I don't remember my pics being like this before. Is there a trick to saving/editing the pics. I am usually good with adobe editor but lately it just doesn't work.
I just got a new computer with the XP operating system, is there something on that system to re-size photos easier?

that said, I have found that receivers of email would far prefer a link to pictures than having a photo take up so much space in their in box. You can upload photos in minutes at shutterfly.com or ofoto.com or any number of free site--this send them a link and then they also have the option to print the photo if they want to have it.

Good luck with the other stuff!

I downloaded a program from the Kodak site called Kodak easyshare. It works very, very well at editing photos. You can also change the size of your pictures by adjusting the setting on your camera.

You can also resize them in Paint or Photoshop before you email them.

I know on my camera, I get larger files when I have it set to take the best quality pictures. The less quality the smaller the file.
