Why are late Feb and March so high in points?

It starts just before Presidents holiday which is also when the schools in the New England states have a week off for winter break and they flock to Florida and goes through Spring break season

Our February break in in 2022 fell on the last week (New Hampshire, Mass is always the week before us), which also was the princess marathon, mardi gras and the entire state of Louisiana was there.

It was the busiest I ever saw Disney (Havn't been for Christmas/Easter etc)

Growing up in MA, February vacation was a popular time to head down south to get some relief from the snow. Where we live now, spring break is always in March (usually before spring, go figure...)

At U. Michigan, "Spring" Break is usually either the last full week of February, or the week that spans the end of February/beginning of March. That's why we always referred to it as "Spring" Break, not Spring Break.

However, if I have to pick a week to be in Florida instead of Michigan, I'd much rather it be late February than late March.

President's Day through Easter is basically a holiday period for someone, somewhere. Mardi Gras falls in there too and lots of people from Louisiana and Alabama come due to school holidays.
