Argghh!!! For two days now, DH has been passing blood clots with his bowel movements. Do you think I can talk him into going to see a doctor??Noooooooooo............

"Lets' just wait. It'll probably go away."

I realize it is probably just hemorrhoids or something minor (I know, TMI, right?) , but still.

even if it's something relatively minor, he could become anemic. you're right to be concerned.

Is it blood clot's or just staining? Bright red or more brown? Bright red usually indicate's Anal fissure.Hemorrhoids. If it is more brown and is clot's then it could indicate something more serious. More brown mean's it is blood coming from further up the GI tract,which could be serious. As another poster said he can become anemic,tell him he does not want to become anemic that could mean blood transfusion's definate hospital stay Tell him he cant do that you need his help with all your baby's!!!! When I first read this I thought TMI but....

My brother had trouble with what he thought were internal hemorrhoids for years. He actually had colon cancer.

Tell him to go get checked out just to make sure he is not anemic.

It is in our programming.. I was a ER RN for 12 years.. I always give out advice to others but.. l my DW who is also a RN still has to drag me to the Doctor even when I know somthing is wrong..
