Why are all the weekends in Jan blacked-out with the codes???

I saw the posting about the codes coming out tomorrow and it shows all the weekends in January are blacked-out. So, what does this mean when I try to book a weeklong reservation for January? Does it mean I'll have to make 2 reservations?

OOPS! I should have said, "why are MY weekends in January blacked-out". I looked again and it's only the 2 first weekends in Jan blacked out. I think the 2nd weekend is Martin Luther King Jr.'s bday (our school district is off the Fri and Mon), but the first weekend, Jan 7-9 isn't a holiday!
