Why am I not getting enticing emails anymore?

We were last at WDW about nine months ago. After I had my ressies, during our trip and right after, I got tons of emails with discount offers, free dining dates, % off resorts, etc.

(First of all, WHY do they keep sending so many when I am already booked?) But more importantly, now that I am in withdrawal and need to plan a new trip, I haven't been getting any emails recently..? Seems backward to me.

Do I need to go play around on the reservation website? Is that the trick?

Sometimes, playing with the Disney website for possible trips and saving them will generate some action regarding codes.

I do think in general pin codes have been decreasing. This may be due to the expansion of MK's Fantasyland and the new resort AOA opening up. Disney may not feel the need to do as many personal pincodes, right now. It does cost Disney money to send out personal pincodes by e-mail or otherwise; they are not free for them to do. Individual codes don't have the same dramatic affect as a public one; so, it's an expensive form of advertising.

I would just look at some general public codes available and see if the dates work for you. I'm almost positive we will see a few public announcements for autumn and winter codes coming out eventually.

Finally, there are so many complaints about individual pincodes and the injustice of them to the masses that Disney may be rethinking how they do them.
