Why wont they send out acceptance notice to the contest... I dont think the rules on the VMK home pages were very clear... I certainly had to read them carefully and geez, the whole first explaination was tossed out (the spaceraceshrunkenned VS space race shrunkenned) and do you put 1) title 2) start room title or just title then start room without the numbers... ALL of which was debated here even by the ADULTS!!! I mean my gosh, you couldnt even DO the first set of instructions on VMK do to the dictionary... shakes head! Just seems sloppy AND CONFUSSING!!!!

Soooooooooooooooo even thought the rules were clear as mud, VMK refuses to let the kids know if they are even in the contest... Some kids are workiing hard right now on a ride and because they misunderstood the horrid directions AND because VMK has opted NOT to let anyone know if they have been accepted... Well... just doesnt seem very kid friendly...

So listen up VMK..... Get the rules right, Have someone READ OVER/TEST then before you post them. PLEASE. And then let us know if we have jumped through all your convoluted hoops correctly, by sending us an acceptance notice... (in game pop up maybe?) Oh and I dont suppose your going to let us know if we have been judged already or not... are you? That was great for the Slide Comp...

THEN you tag on this whole EBAY thing, where you must be an adult with a Credit card to even have a shot at winning those 7 prizes.... That isnt very Kids freindly..... I feel bad for all the parents that are being pestered into signing up for Ebay and then logging in each day....

Oh and Also Yavn said that Treasure Dector Magic would be an IN game item... which I suppose still could be true, and this whole EBAY thing is mearly a 'preview' yet due to LACK OF INFORMATION, for now, it seems Yavn's words arent worth quite as much as they used too... could be wrong, but it's a shame to even have to feel that way... you know? I guess they could of changed their minds about it... who knows... we sure dont.

I love VMK.... but lately it seems that things are a little sloppy.. Maybe (darn I say this...) have less NEW things happening and focus in on cleaning up the important things... like strict confusing rules that you have no idea if you have followed correctly.

And since I am in a griping mood one last thing...

You all love to give us surveys... Why not, when REAL MONEY IS AT STAKE, ask us if we would mail order a pins if they were ever to be released... You now know that answer to that question ....billions of us... lol. Disney could Already have a whole boat load of cash in their pockets, if you had just asked us if we were..... ALL Crazy and would KILL to have these pins for Christmas gifts!!! Market research... a wonderful thing, really helps to bring in the big bucks before the end of the year! REAL MONEY!!!! I feel a ball was dropped here big time.

Im just as confused as you are... i asked a few community leaders what they thought I was supposed to put for 2). I asked them if it was supposed to be SpaceRacePrincessshanie or Space Race Princessshanie, because the newsletter said it should be SpaceRacePrincessshanie but that didn't seem logical since you can not put that as the title of your room. So I asked the community leaders and they told me to send it in as Space Race Princessshanie. I hope they are right.. because im still confused. And yes i think it is ridiculous that there is no acceptance letter this time.. i mean im spending all of these credits on a ride that I dont know is even accepted yet....

I could've sworn I needed paypal to sign up for ebay, and I needed a credit/debit card to sign up for paypal, but then it has been awhile...

Granted it has been a while but when i first signed up for ebay, paypal was not required. I didnt add Paypal until about a year later

LOL. Oh Bears, you are just realizing this? I have been saying this since last February about Yavn. LOL

I'm sorry to laugh, it is not 'at you', it is that I have been saying that for so long and everyone jumped my case. I'm just relieved a few other people are starting tp realizing it too. I lost any belief I have had in Yavn many months ago. Some of the things he promised and has been swearing to for a year still haven't come true. And everyone thinks he is such a god. LOL

Thanks bears, I personally totally agree with this. I spent about 100K and put some of my rarest items into it, they better not say I wasn't accepted it. Here's my advice to the staff- GET A GRIP! We have been left clueless, and what do they give us? a bunch of random football costumes, football room, and football predictometer. We've seen it all before with baseball, at least if you release something new make it totally new.

Thanks Cheops, but that's not what this vent was about.... I registered... as did many others... mostly kids... Did the KIDS understand how to do it... What about all the kids who are NOT on the DIS or Magic?? I am sure there are many who filled it out wrong and have no idea they are NOT in the ride comp.... and yet are spending their hard earned credits and are not even in the contest......

And Mal... yesterday I needed to put in a CC number to confirm who I was... You didnt have to? I didnt see a way around that.... If you did please share

So we weren't supposed to put numbers? Oh drat! I think I put numbers.. You know I will be very upset with vmk if I am not accepted into the competition. I have worked pretty hard on my ride and its the first one I have ever made so it will really stink if I am not in. I mean, I didn't build the ride to win a prize, but, it would be nice if I had the chance. Now I don't know if I should even keep building.

I did not put in numbers when I applied, but I'd be really sad to see some of my friends' rooms that they worked so hard on get disqualified.

Give us a break, VMK! I hope you accept the applications with numbers, because it's your own fault that half of them are "wrong". Do it right the first time, or accept your own mistakes.

This competition, to me, seems like something that was just thrown together in a day. It seems like there was no thought put into it, no thought on the outcome. I bet you three tacos (inside joke hee hee) that the staff members don't even read the Newsletter. Yet they tell players "keep checking the newsletter" and "see the newsletter for instructions" instead of taking three minutes of their lives to explain it to the players right then and there.

I'll be glad if I get an entering prize, let alone a prize for winning.
