who's your internet provider?

[Needs Motivation]

We've got Earthlink dial-up for about $17/month. It's terrible and I wouldn't mind upgrading, but DSL hasn't gotten here yet.

Local Co 18.95/mo when paying for 3 mos.

Both are dial up.

Mediacom cable modem. DH pays bills, so I don't know the cost.

We have ADSL and pay $45 every month.

We Star Trek.net which Earthlink dialup. We have no problem with them. DSL is not in our area. The Cable company can not do normal and extended cable right. I don't trust them.

We have Time Warner Cable Modem.

It started out with a few hiccups, but was really great until April.

Now it is a kind of on and off thing, and I just had to call them again today....

I threatened them with Knology, so we'll see what happens.

We have cable modem (Time Warner RoadRunner) for the last 3 years. It is $42 month but we get it for $32 month because Cindy is a teacher. Have had no problems at all with it.

We also have AOL for $3 month because General Motors employees get it for that price.

Comcast...$42.95/month and ..... in the past 3 or 4 months......absolutely NOT worth it. For some reason, it's been "going down" much too often recently (at least once/twice per day). I am just about ready to cancel .... except for 2 reasons...1) Can't get on the Disboard from work and don't have a phone jack in the basement (where the computer is located).

There, I've vented. (whew!)

My DH also works for Comcast That is a big savings every month.

but the funny part is we get all these channels with our digital cable box and we don't get The Travel Channel. (I wanna see all those disney specials)

We don't get the Travel Channel, either. I have to drive to my parent's house 50 miles away if I want to see one of the Disney specials.
