Wow, that scene with Finn's mom just tore me up. This couldn't have been an easy episode for them to film.. :guilty:

I am. I agree--that scene was heartbreaking and she portrayed it so well.

I read almost all the scenes we see tonight are first takes because everyone including the crew was crying during filming.

Watching with DD 27. She was worried about crying but I beat her to it because I started when the mom started crying.

I started crying at the opening song. The rest of the music in the show was ok. Only other song I truly loved Rachel's tribute.

Really was a little disappointed in the episode I hate to say. I wish they would have touched on how his character passed away. This would have been a great way to celebrate his life & the tragedy of how he (Cory) died.

Dd and I both started crying from the first note of Seasons of Love. The scene with his mom darn near killed me, that was so hard to watch. As bad as this show has gotten, this episode was beautiful.

I actually liked that they didn't say how he died.

I agreed with what Kurt said at the beginning about the "how?".

Yeah, the scene with Finn's mom was devastating. Pretty much kept crying, after that.

It was so sad and yeah that scene with the Mom was heartbreaking.

I am glad they didn't mention outright how he died...I almost think the not telling made it more obvious that he did not die due to and accident or medical illness.

Each song is so fitting......I too liked how Kurt addressed the issue of not needing to "know" details--the scene with his mom was heartbreaking. All of them are so brave for filming it must have been so very, very hard for them all :sad1:

That scene with his mom was just completely and utterly heartbreaking. My daughter and I were sobbing from that point on. I though the episode was very well done. It must have been so difficult for all of them.

It took years after watching the movie Running On Empty, before I could listen to Fire and Rain without crying. Now I might as well just delete it from my ITunes forever...or keep a lot of Kleenex in the car.

I cried from the first song until it was over. It's been over an hour and my eyeballs still hurt...it must have been so hard to film. :sad1:

I think the title should be who's crying watching glee
I started right at the start when I saw the kids in black

My daughters birthday is today. She just turned 8 and watched it with me. She didn't undress debunk was crying and when I told he died in real life she cuddled up with me for the rest of the show

Other than the scene with the mother and the one with Sue, it was truly an empty episode. With all the youth following the show has, the writer's and producer's needed to cross the fantasy/reality boundary and deliver something more meaningful and show how poor choices can have irrevocable consequences. The bottom line is a REAL person died----Finn was make believe, and it was a make believe send off.

I disagree, I felt like I was watching Cory's funeral. Everyone knows how he died they didn't need to go there in my opinion.

Where was Dianna Agron?

My dd read somewhere that she wasn't invited back, but we couldn't find any other info. As much as I couldnt' stand Quinn, it really felt wrong to not have her there.

I absolutley agree! This show has been plenty heavy handed with the PSA epsiodes in the past. This was just perfect, his friends grieving for the man they lost. That is what made it so sad, and made me cry so much, you knew all those tears were real.

Agree with all those who said Kurts words were so perfect, we don't need the why, it doesn't matter.
