I know he was on NYPD BLUE, he played a detective the last couple of seasons. He was partners with Det. Greg Medavoy. His name is Henry Simmons and he played Det. Baldwin Jones.

I was also thinking he was one of Ally McBeal's boyfriends on that show, but that was so long ago...
