Who's Packin for a DVC trip 4/19 - 4/26 ?

Well, the trip is finally coming to fruition!! I am starting to pack!! Yes, I know I'm a week ahead.....anyone else starting to pack! What should I not forget to bring to the villas? (I know I don't need toilet paper! )

I hate waiting because I always think of something else to pack. DS is leaving 4/17 on the bus with the school band (performing at MK 2:30 4/20). Yesterday I remembered that he needed to pack his marching shoes.

I bring coffee filters (I'm going to buy coffee when we stop to pick up soda and water), small jellies and creamer. I also bring some extra detergent.

This is about the time I check my travel size sundries, toothpaste, shaving creme, make sure I have preferred headache pill bottle stocked. You know all the little piddly stuff. Also make a list of how many clothing items I need per person. It works well with the kids, as I let them pick what to bring, just let them know how many.

I'm soooooo excited Going to BWV and OKW for the 1st time.

Never did find them, but I bought "Dropps" from a posted website....they will be great. Gave me a good idea...to make a list of those "piddly" stuff items we always seem to use! I am bringing a few extra trash bags....do we extra of those in the villas? GO "99"!!

about extra trash bags! We finally remembered to bring them last trip. I found a 2 load bottle of concentrated All at Target for only a $1.

Just curios alldiz, was the cost of shipping these down expense through UPS? I am thinking of doing the same things versus packing it in a suitcase.

I would just prefer to bring carry ons and avoid checking a bag.

ME ME ME, TOO!!!! We leave on the 18th! We also bring a small first aid kit. You never know when those little boo-boos will show up. Also, the kids Tylenol, Tums, stuffy nose meds (allergies here). Baggies for snacks, travel games, rain ponchos, swim goggles.

I also loved the Ovaltine/Vodka combo. I had to smile about that!!

We'll see you all there!!! SSR here we come!!

Got the power strip!!!!! Now about this drink......Ovaltine is chocolaty, hmmm with vodka? Now, orange juice and vodka I have done , but chocolate and vodka? Don't forget to photocopy the back of your tickets!

Well, I have been packing and re-packing for a week now. We leave in 12 hours and I am still trying to make sure my suitcase comes in under 50 pounds. What will I do with the souvenirs? Oh well, who cares! I'll have them shipped!

See ya there! I'm at AKLV from 4/29-5/6, staying in 3 different studios. I have the sunset safari booked for 5/3-I'm so looking forward to it!

We're with the rest of you -- packing to leave on the 27th, coming home (boo!) on May 9. It's our longest trip yet -- 12 nights. Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at the Cali Grill on May 6. I've got everything packed except the last minute stuff, and I plan to do my list and make a run to Target on Saturday. Next week is rehearsals, concerts in the city on Friday and Saturday nights - then Sunday afternoon -- vrooooom -- off to Orlando!! Can't wait!!!

I guess you could say I'm packing. Truth is, after washing the summer clothes from our trip in Feb, I left them and the suitcase in the BR. SO I just need to pare down a bit, Feb was 10 days, only going 5 days this time.

Bring a jacket, sunglasses and sunscreen. Those are the three things I've needed most so far. I also find myself wishing I broght more long sleeve shirts. I'm hoping the weather gets better but nights have been chilly.
