We are going as a family and taking Grandpa too for Father's day!! :lovestruc
Matinee Father's day!!:cool1:

We have been waiting since the first time we saw the ad for TS3!! :mickeyjum

We also went and saw 1&2 in 3D when it was out!!:donald:

*NikkiBell* and are are seeing it on Friday. Hoping to make an impromptu NJ meet out of it.

I'm in a play both Saturday and Sunday, but will try to squeeze in a screening either Sat. morn or Sun. night.

Anyone in NYC (or near by) going to see Toy Story 3 on Saturday? Miguel and I have tickets for the 4 PM showing at the Ziegfeld. Would love to meet other Disers there...

We're all going on Saturday! DH & I are very excited- but so are our 2 DS (now 20 & 23)! :thumbsup2
I love Family Movies and continuing traditions! :yay:

I have tickets for the Imax 3D version for 10 am Friday prepurchased. My boys are so excited. So am I.

We're going to see Toy Story 3 on Saturday...the first showing at 10:30am.

My wife and I are going Friday morning using the free tickets we received with the Toy Story 1 & 2 blu-rays.

Hey- you know what I just noticed?
The "free" ticket is limited to an $8.50 value. You have to pay the difference if your theater charges more. The range in my area is $10.50 (lowest for 3D) to $13 (Imax). Even in non-3D the tickets are $9- and these are all matinee prices!! It's more if you go in the evening.

Maybe everyone already knew this- but I was under the assumption that the FREE tickets were really for FREE admission. :confused3

Well- I'm going anyway- but I guess they knew that... ;)

nothing derogatory, i just get mental pictures of folks, ya know like the person on the other end of the phone at the insurance office or some such thing that you talk to a couple times of year but never meet? like that. i had you as Wilford Brimley. from now on you will be Sandra Bullock.

Well.....sounds good to me, I'll take Sandra, but in that comparison, I'm probably closer to old Wilford! :lmao:

I'm going! Not sure when since it's my sister's birthday on Friday so I may be doing other things but I am definitely going at least once this weekend. My friends and I are SO excited to see it since we were the original Toy Story generation!

Wish I could say I was seeing it this weekend!
But we don't get it in the UK for another month :(
Not fair :sad1: Never mind....

Anyhooo, I hope that everybody who sees it in the next couple of days enjoy the show :thumbsup2
Can't wait to hear what you all have to say about it!

i noticed the "up to $8.50" thing but it'll cover most of the cost. i think it's $10.50 here for the 3d show.

Going either Saturday or Sunday afternoon! Can't wait!

Yes, it was really good. I enjoyed it and so did DS4 and DD3.

We came home and they immediately started playing Toy Store. DS is buzz and DD grabbed her cowboy hat and is Jessie. I feel a little like Andy's Mom when she watched him play!

We just got home from seeing the non-3D version. It was soooo good! I laughed! I cried! I heard lots of moms and dads sniffling in the audience toward the end, and the theater applauded when the credits came up.

DD loved it, but felt sorry for the villain at the end. She is so tender-hearted... My favorite new toy was Ken- so funny!! And such a snappy dresser!!
