Who's going to MNSSHP on Oct. 7th

We are heading down in a couple of days and plan on going to MNSSHP on the 7th? It is fall break for several counties here in Tennessee and I know of ALOT of families heading down to Disney. Hope the crowds are good. I keep hearing how low the crowds are at MNSSHP...Hoping for a not too crowded party!!!

We leave Thursday! I can't wait for MNSSHP...we are planning on going on the 7th, but something got me to thinking about going on the 5th. I can't decide!

We will be there! We can't wait. We went last year and had a blast! I don't think the crowds will be too bad for this one. The weather forecast might scare people away a little bit, but last year we went in the rain for the party and had an absolutely great time. Even the characters were walk right up and see them or maybe a 5 minute wait at most.

What weather forecast are you referring too? I am leaving on Friday and the few I have looked at only show a 30% chance of rain...which means there is a 70% chance that it won't. What am I missing? I have been looking at weather.com and accuweather.com???

I have been looking mostly at accuweather. Up until today it had rain listed for the 7th. Today it finally took it off. I think it will probably change a few more times until that day. People might wait to see how the weather is before buying their tickets.

Hey, cool! We'll be there the 7th also.

DD will be dressed as Cinderella and the wife and I are probably going to go wearing togas. (To-ga, to-ga, to-ga, TO-GA!!!) We chose togas because they're simple and cheap; just like us! LOL

Anyway, if you happen to see a lovely little girl who looks slightly disgusted with her parents; that's probably us!

HAHA! Very true. We went last year in the rain and the party was still cool. the fireworks and the parade both went on a little late, but they went on. Characters were great and we still got candy. Just have your ponchos just in case!

Hey, fun! DH (Halloween t-shirt), DS2 (buzz lightyear) and I (trick or treating couture and Jack-O ears) will be there the 7th. We are local but we decided to stay at SSR for the night so we don't have to drive home at midnight and can stay and enjoy the whole evening without feeling too bad about keeping the little one up so late. This is our first MNSSHP and I am very excited! Any tips for someone going for the first time? I am hoping the crowds will be low since it is a Tuesday. Anyone know how many tickets they sell for each night? I read there was a night in September that they only sold 8k tickets. What's max?
