I saw a thread on the WDW board about MLK weekend but haven't seen one here. We will be at DL from Friday until Monday but only going to the parks Saturday and Sunday. Who else will be there?

Actually, I will! I am attending the NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center from the 16th-20th and plan to spend some time in the parks in my free time. I am not certain what time I have free yet, but any that I find I hope to be in DL!

What are your plans for Saturday? I fly home on Sunday.

My husband is also attending the NAMM show. My DD's and I are just tagging along so we can go to DL. We plan on going to the parks and do what we can since it will be a crowded weekend. We're going for fun, not to try to do everything. I didn't plan on getting DH a ticket to the parks, but he said he wanted me to since he doesn't know how much time he will spend at the convention.

We were scheduled for then but everyone here talked me out of it! LOL So we're going the following week. AND bc we're not going during convention week....our hotel rates dropped $30 a night! :thumbsup2

That is great! This is just a bonus trip for us. We hadn't planned on going to DL this year, but when DH said he was attending the NAMM show my DD's and I couldn't let him go without us! We are flying on miles and staying on DVC points so the only cash outlay will be for tickets and meals. Those prices will be the same no matter when we go.

Have a great time the following week! I am sure the crowd level will be less.

Well, have your DH head over to the Yamaha booths on Friday or Saturday around noon. One of my composition students will be perfoming his own work with MB Gordy and George Shelby then!

I didn't know until this week how much time I would have free either. Now that I see my itinerary I think I will have a little more time in the parks than I had originally thought.

If this were on my dime I wouldn't be going this particular weekend either. But Yamaha is paying the tab so a second trip to DL this year was a delightful surprise! We are staying at the Anaheim Marriott this trip. DH and I stayed at Disney's Grand Californian this summer when we were there.

Enjoy the lower crowds as well as the cheaper hotel costs! :goodvibes

How exciting! I'll let him know!

I'll be there that weekend! Wish I had friday off - but I had to work - So We will be there from Sat - Mon. =) :bouncy: This is DD's 3rd trip in a year's span. She's REALLY excited!

Well, if I was going to NAMM I would be going to Disney. Unfortunately I didn't get "picked" to attend NAMM for my company this year. BUT, be sure to stop by the Dunlop booth and tell them I should be going next year! LOL Seriously though, have fun at NAMM and stop by our booth and say to the guys!!

PS, I really do work at Dunlop. LOL

I will! And I really do teach at a Yamaha Music School in Virginia and do really have a student performing at NAMM. :rotfl: Wish you were going to be there too! :goodvibes

Hubby is going to have a schedule full of stuff to do before he even looks at what he is interested in! I will be sure to tell him to stop by.

Its great that you can go so often. Your DD will have lots of fond memories of Disneyland. With us living about halfway between the coasts we can't seem to go as often. This year, however, is an exception. I am going to DL once, but WDW 4 times! Hopefully I'll be able to buy some DVC points at GCV and then I will visit more often.

I will be there for my birthday on the 21st!!

Happy Early Birthday!! I spent my birthday at WDW in 2007. Disney is a great birthday place!!
